Tips to Make Your Office Seem Bigger with Office Furniture

A small office does not need to look oppressively tight – there are lots of great, easy tricks that you can use to create the illusion of a larger space. Here is how to make clever use of furnishing items and decorations in a tiny office:

-          Use the vertical space – for most people, office filing means the storage of their files in cabinets placed on the office floor, but one of the best ways to free floor space and to enlarge the space is by installing vertical storage units. Shelves can go all the way up to the ceiling, allowing you to store rarely used items and files on the top shelves;

-          Use bright colors – pastel walls visually enlarge any space, so they are especially useful for small offices. Avoid dark colors with the furnishing items, too – light grey, blue, green or beige pieces with some bright accents will look great include airy mesh office chairs for sight lines;

-          Use mirrors – mirrors are the best tools to visually enlarge spaces. They also reflect light, giving you the additional benefit of making the space brighter and more inviting as well. To make the most of your mirrors, experiment a little to find the best location for them and also try different mirror sizes to find the perfect fit.
