Are Cats Good Office Pets?

Beautiful Modern Office Furniture and Decor

The presence of pets is beneficial for humans in many ways – pets can improve our concentration, our efficiency in work, they reduce stress levels and provide the occasional distraction that lets us unwind for a few minutes before we take on the next task or we make the next stressful phone call. Many companies have recognized the beneficial effects of cats in the office and they allow their employees to bring their pets to the workplace – a measure that was welcomed by many office workers, especially by cat lovers. Indeed, cats are among the best office pets – here are a few of their traits that make them so beloved by everyone in the workplace:

  • They are cute and fluffy – cats can be irresistible, with their large, expressive eyes and their soft, furry and extremely able bodies, you will have to train them not to scratch those all so inviting big and tall office chairs in your office;
  • They make the most devoted companions – their purring and rubbing brings the element of kindness and affection that most offices would lack otherwise;
  • Low maintenance – cats don’t require too much maintenance. You will need to scoop their boxes regularly, you need to keep them well-fed and watered and installing a scratching pole is also a good idea, but they don’t need anything else to feel good in your office.
